• EU Commission is expanding the anti-smoking campaign with 3 new TV spots to be aired in all 25 member states starting of June, targeting young people of 15 to 30 years.

• A source told the Daily Mirror: "Lenny [Kravitz] doesn't like to make a fuss, but his voice is his livelihood and he's prepared to go to any lengths to protect it." A spokesman for the club confirmed: "We threw a party for Lenny and at his request the club banned smoking from all areas except the bar, in order to protect his voice."
